... operates from the highest vibration of herself and is of service to others
... does not rule from a place of fear, power, or domination, she guides from love. She holds court by radiating her authentic joy and light (in other words, conscious queens lead by example and model for others)
... embraces all of her emotions and does not hide them, or from them, for fear of shame or judgement. A concious queen understands that by expressing what is present and true for her is what makes her whole and human.
... is not submissive in the boardroom or the bedroom.
... embraces this moment and all that is
... understands she is in partnership with Mother Earth and all her living creatures
... practices some form of daily meditation
... does not subscribe to hierarchy but rather partnership within community to serve that which serves the highest good
... celebrates ritual, ceremony, victory and Tuesday evenings with equal enthusiasm
... knows that she is enough and anything which doesn't support that truth is illusion
... understands the importance of creating and keeping a harmonious home - her castle (or treehouse, cottage, beach shack, houseboat, apartment, high rise, farm) is her sanctuary
... knows that less is truly more - less clutter, less processed foods, less fear
... seeks and speaks truth
... creates healthy boundaries for herself and releases that which doesn't serve her highest good
... models what she wishes to teach little queens and kings
... knows what she wants and more importantly knows how to ask for it
... understands that the external beauty she in the world is a reflection of her internal beauty
... trusts her intuition and uses it as her guide
... understands that money is vital to life force and legacy and is something to be embraced - not feared or undervalued. She claims her worth and knows the value she creates through her services and offerings. When a queen creates financial abundance for herself she gives permission for others to do the same.
... knows that the purpose of money is to be in continuous flow and not hoarded. She understands money as an energy exchange represented by paper and is able to freely give and receive responsibly and sacredly.
... wears only a crown of light energy and is a force of good
... proudly brings forth her divine and sacred feminine
... empowers her king (if one has been appointed of her choosing) and sets him up for success through her kindness, love and support
... understands that self love is where the source of her power lies, allowing her to give love freely, easily and authentically
... practices daily self care, even if only for ten minutes, and knows the importance of holistic wellness: the sacred connection between her body, mind and spirit.
... subscribes to sacred nourishment in all its forms.
... understands that movement both in physical body and through intentional action is how she co creates with the universe and manifests her queendom
... does not allow others to make her choices – her purpose is that of ruler after all; she knows she holds the reigns of personal responsibility
... does not receive her validation through external sources (be it praise or discord). Her validation comes from within though she receives external validation with gratitude and grace.
... is able to safely hold space for others with love and compassion without taking on their emotions and stories
... does not sit in judgement of herself or others
... recognizes the inherent good in all things and that our beautifully messy human experience is universal
... shuns perfection in all forms with a deep knowledge that perfection simply IS. She knows mistakes allow for growth and the learning curve of life is to be embraced. A queen is grateful for her mistakes and the imperfections of life and humbly receives the lessons they teach.
... recognizes her creativity is at the core of who she is. She knows her creativity is expressed through everything from her hair, clothing, style, cooking, mothering, problem solving, friendships, words, self care rituals, as well as any artistic endeavor she partakes in.
... actively seeks wise council and guidance from other queens, mentors, goddesses, guides, coaches and teachers in her court
... understands that jealousy is a signal of an unmet need and a carrier of the deeper message of what is possible and available to her. In other words a queen will notice where the jealousy is coming from: another’s book deal, exotic vacation or thriving business - and ask what is possible and available to her. She will then gather tools to expand or create her business, excavate the book that is living within her or break out the world map. Book that plane ticket, girl! You are a queen, world travel is your birthright.
... is familiar with the term One Queen to Rule Them All. However, she recognizes this statement as internal and where she presides is over her own archetypes, visions, purpose, and actions.
... deeply knows that surrounding herself in what she deems beautiful is her birthright
... may love her designer shoes but knows that labels do not define her.
... may receive worship in her queendom but does so gracefully, fully understanding that her service has helped elevate someone's soul, and not her ego.
... may have a favorite chair but will never place her throne on a pedestal
... recognizes the sacred wisdom and divine beauty of her sister queens
... shuns gossip. She does not bring others down to elevate herself, she rises by radiating love.
... trusts her court and understands that she is always supported.
... trusts that when she isn’t abiding by the guidelines of the manifesta that her queendom won’t crumble
... allows for surrender and is able to give her self compassion and empathy in those moments.
... who is still in her reproductive years understands with great clarity the importance of scheduling herself retreat time in the red tent. Concious Queens keep a calendar and schedule restoration activities such as rest, self nourishment, chick flicks and massages accordingly. A raging queen is rarely of service but a pampered queen surely is.
... knows she didn’t awaken and rise her inner queen by giving her power away
... knows who she is, why she is here and takes daily action accordingly
... walks her walk, knows what she stands for and is strong in her integrity. She is not a chameleon.
... embraces imperfection. She knows that falling off her horse during the parade is part of the process - as is getting back up.
... understands she is continuously becoming, evolving, a constant work in progress, spiraling and moving with the rhythms of life. She knows there is no grand arrival - unless of course she is arriving at her studio, to dinner, an art show, her book signing, a red carpet premiere, the everyday moments of her children's lives, or simply showing up for herself.

Your majesty deserves a royal rest after this stirring proclamation! What a lovely Queendom ... so honored to be in this realm with you. xo

I read this when you first posted it a few months ago, but I keep coming back to it, especially now at the start of a new year, it's a great reference to aspire to. I absolutely love it, it is so well-thought-out. As a woman hurling towards 40, and mother of two, I can so relate to all parts this manifesta. I just want to say thank you for putting it out there for everyone, it is really a gift on your part.
